Community Fair

Come celebrate our local students, schools and community organizations that make this a great place to live.  The Community Fair will feature student peformances, booths from student clubs and community organizations, fun activities for all ages, and free books!  We're thrilled to have some new activities this year, including a Bike Safety Rodeo, a Sports Challenge with i9, and a Novato History talk with the Novato Historical Guild at 11 in the City Hall.

Student Showcase

This year’s event will once again feature the unbelievably talented students of the Novato Unified School District. Performances begin at 10am and will continue during the event until 1pm. There will also be a display of student artwork in City Hall. Be there to support our students and hear and see our award-winning performers for yourself!!

  • 10:00   Beauty and the Beast Sing-A-Long with the San Jose Middle School musical theater students
  • 10:30   San Jose Middle School Jazz Band Performance
  • 11:00   San Marin High Jazz Combo
  • 11:30   Marin School of the Arts Rock Band, Skunk
  • 12:00   Marin School of the Arts Rock Band, Ya Happy Clamp 'Em 🙂
  • 12:30   Marin School of the Arts Rock Band, Hubert and Gracie

 

Community Booths

The Community Fair provides unlimited access to

  • Interactive booths from school and community organizations
  • Games & prizes
  • See demonstrations and hear about opportunities from student organizations such as the robotics club, medical career pathways, and the bike club
  • Free books for kids and adults of all ages at the School Fuel book trailer, Betty the Book Box. Also, meet the Mayor, Rachel Farac, and tell her your favorite book.
