What is The Tour of Novato?
The Tour of Novato is School Fuel's annual bike ride and FREE community fair! If you're an avid bike rider, check out the bike rides. You can even get a free loaner bike from Redwood Bikeshare for event day. There is also a walk option. The whole community is invited to join us on the City Green, Saturday May 9 from 10am - 1pm for live entertainment, community booths, and food from Tommy's Salsa. We're thrilled to have some new activities this year, including a Bike Safety Rodeo and Sports with i9, as well as demonstrations from San Marin Robotics and Novato High Medical Career Pathways, and a presentation by the Novato Historical Guild. We'll also have a "Beauty and the Beast" sing-along and performances by MSA's Rockbands, SMHS Jazz Combo and San Jose Middle School's Big Jazz Band. When
You can sign up for the Tour of Novato and start fundraising at any time. We will have a Community Fair and group rides and a walk starting from the celebration venue on the City Green on May 9.
Packet/shirt/swag pick-up for registered participants will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm in front of City Hall on Friday, May 8.
On May 9, here is the schedule for the day:
Event Registration opens at 8:00 am
Novato Classic Ride begins at 9:00 am
Warm Up with Mr. Malone at 9:05 am
Family Ride begins at 9:30 am
Walk self-led walk at any time, map available from the Novato History Guild booth. The Guild will also be hosting a Novato History talk at 11:00 in City Hall.
Community Fair runs from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. See the full performance schedule for the main stage here.

The Tour of Novato takes the volunteer efforts from dozens of folks to make for a successful event. If you are interested in helping us this year, we have several options for help before or during event day. You can take a look, and sign-up for an option at our volunteer portal.
